Anthony Salvin (1799-1881) was an eminent Victorian architect, celebrated for his restoration of Mediaeval buildings, including area of Windsor Castle. His high-spirited masterpiece, Harlaxton Manor, is in the rich mix of Jacobean particularisation by using Baroqueness massing & symmetry.
